This article discusses ecotheology as a relevant theological framework for the church in the midst of the global climate crisis. Climate change has caused severe impacts such as global warming, ecological disasters, and social injustice, all of which challenge the church to expand its theological understanding toward ecological concern. Ecotheology emphasizes that God, humanity, and creation exist in an interconnected relationship, so that environmental degradation is not merely a scientific issue but also a theological and ethical one. Using a contextual theological approach, this article highlights the prophetic role of the church in fostering ecological education, renewing liturgy, and promoting concrete actions and public advocacy for ecological justice. Ecological spirituality is presented as an essential dimension in caring for the earth as a common home. The conclusion affirms that the church is called not only to voice concern but also to act as a transformative agent embodying the Kingdom of God through ecological responsibility amid the climate crisis.
